The development history of Shanghai Sanli Inspection Technology Co., Ltd. can be traced back to the Shanghai Sanli Electronic and Mechanical Technology Research Institute established in 1993. The company was officially established as a joint-stock company in 1998 and has now grown into a leading enterprise in the industry. Who has extensive experience in the field of food inspection equipment and is known for providing cost-effective, stable, and reliable solutions.


A food X-ray inspection machine leverages the penetrating properties of X-rays and the differences in X-ray absorption among various substances to detect foreign bodies in food and ensure quality control. The core principles are as follows: 


X-ray Emission and Penetration: 

The X-ray generator of the equipment emits X-ray beams that pass through the food to be inspected. X-rays are electromagnetic waves with extremely short wavelengths and strong penetration ability, which can easily penetrate most food materials. 

Differences in Substance Absorption: 

The components of food itself (such as water, protein, fat) and possible foreign bodies (metal, glass, stones, plastics, etc.) have significantly different X-ray absorption capacities. Substances with higher density and larger atomic numbers absorb more X-rays. For example, metals absorb a large amount of X-rays, and the absorption of X-rays by plastics and glass is also significantly higher than that of most food raw materials. 

Signal Reception and Imaging: 

The detector on the other side of the food receives the penetrated X-rays and converts them into electrical signals. After processing, these signals form grayscale images on the display screen. In the image, foreign bodies that absorb more X-rays will appear as darker areas, forming a clear contrast with the food background and thus being identified. 

Intelligent Identification and Sorting: 

Modern food X-ray inspection machines are equipped with AI algorithms, which can automatically analyze image features, quickly identify foreign bodies or internal defects of food (such as packaging damage and insufficient product filling), and link with sorting devices to reject unqualified products
